Shallow Life on LinkedIn

LinkedIn has almost turn into a #socialmedia platform. Political leaders and parties are here, posting.

I see everyone is posting some awe inspiring, cute stories of justice, equality, women empowerment, how they are so humane while hiring, how they have the best conductive culture at their organisation, as if nobody is better than them. They post the usual maid, cab guy, delivery guy story as if they are angels for these guys.

To tell you in very Frank words, OFF LinkedIn life is very shallow. I find these stories as self promotion and PR stunts to say the least. I have a good laugh reading such posts.

If everyone is so good and humane, on which planet is the toxic corporate culture, under paid employees, extremely unhealthy and unconducive working conditions ?

I have seen that the company I work with has nicest of human beings from Top to Bottom hierarchy. In fact there is no such thing as hierarchy there. We are a pleasant team and family. In fact I would love to retire from here only.

And last but not the least, you will never find such kind of posts from these guys, from our family. And I am not writing this for PR or any kind of browny points.

I rest my case here !

Bombay Begums :Review

Bomaby Begums : Review

Bombay Begums is created by Alankrita Srivastava, Iti Agarawal and Bornila Chatterjee. It stars Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Rahul Bose, Plabita Borthakur, Amruta Subhash, Danish Hussain, Manish Chaudhary and others.

To start with, if you remove the sex scenes and all extra marital affairs, from the 50 minutes of each six episodes, it will just turn out to be a 20 minutes video.#AlankritaShrivastava has some fantasies, and she is fulling that with her characters.

What kind of character is that Girl “Aayesha” who has been sleeping with everyone and also writes #metoo but never goes ahead with that. Daughter of Rani who is narrator of the scenes, is the kind of girl no body will find in their home. Take example of “Fatima” and her morality. She has a loving husband who has been faithful but she happily has her fling. And did she felt any guilt ? No she doesn’t. Because Alankarita will not feel that way.

If you remember the fine movie titled “Corporate” it was such a great movie on that theme.

If you want to summarize #BombayBegums it would be like this:

” For #feminist torch bearers, women fucking around is the liberty that they seek which empowers them. Alankrita Srivastava having #LipstickundermyBurkha as her repertoire, finds twisted relationship, a girl getting kinky and Children of the family going haywire while parents slut around is normal.”

Male characters have been a usual representation of the kind of conduct some males display in upper middle class and elite families. Even that is not normal. Can you give example of such families and characters you have ever seen ? I have not.

The nude gang and such feminists who visit #maldives with a high resolution camera and cameraman to shoot their vacation in Biknis and nudes do not represent how a normal family is. It is not even the normal in usual villain, that is West and it’s culture.

Such feminists are normalizing the abnormal through OTT and some crores of funding. But that is not normal.

WHY MODI Govt is after JNV Schools?

Modi govt has ordered to convert many #JNVs into #SainikSchool and students have been asked to give #NDA exams. JNV is the top performing chain of residential govt school in India. It has produced top quality of Engineers, Doctors, IAS, Lawyers etcs who are serving the nation.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya was a dream project of Shri Rajiv Gandhi Ji. He sanctioned it in just 5 minutes by asking former PM Narsimha Rao ji, to implement it. JNV seats are reserved 75% for the poor and rural students.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) is a system of central schools for talented students predominantly from rural area in India. They are run by Navodaya Vidyalaya SamitiNew Delhi, an autonomous organization under the Department of School Education and LiteracyMinistry of Education (MoE)(formerly the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) (1985–2020) ), Government of India. JNVs are fully residential and co-educational schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, with classes from VI to XII standard. JNVs are specifically tasked with finding talented children in rural areas of India and providing them with an education equivalent to the best residential school system, without regard to their families’ socio-economic conditions.

The Budget for Education, Boarding and activities at JNVs are provided by Ministry of Education, Government of India and it’s free of cost for the students during the 7 years of stay.

JNVs exist all over India, with the exception of Tamil Nadu.[3] There are approximately 661 across India as of 2016-17 academic year. As of 30 September 2019, a total of 636 JNVs are functional in the country with about 2,65,574 students enrolled, and out of which 2,06,728 (~78%) are from rural areas. In 2019, JNVs were the top-ranked C.B.S.E. schools, having a pass percentage of 98.57% and 96.62% in 10th and 12th grades respectively.

The idea of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas conceived by former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi.[6][7] The concept of opening a JNV in every district of India was born as a part of the National Policy on Education, 1986 with an aim of providing excellence coupled with social justice.[8] Subsequently, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) was registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.[8]

As per policy of the government, one JNV was to be established in each district of country. To start with, two Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas were established during 1985–86, at Jhajjar (Haryana) and Amravati (Maharashtra).[8] As of the 2015–16 academic session, JNVs had been sanctioned for 576 districts. In addition, ten JNVs have been sanctioned in districts having a large population of ST population, ten in districts having a large concentration of SC population and two special JNVs in Manipur, bringing the total number of sanctioned JNVs to 598.[9] Out of these 591 JNVs are functional.[10] In November 2016, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved the opening of one JNV in each of the 62 uncovered districts.[10] That will bring the total number of JNVs to 660 once operational.

Modi Govt in budget said that it will open new Sainik Schools. BUT it is just renaming and converting the existing JNVs. How shameful is that ??

Is Modi govt not not capable of doing better than just renaming?
