Lucky Me

This was the finest day in Mumbai.

No rain..easy entry in local train for Vashi to Kurla and then Big profit as  virtual money in Trading!.

I landed up in Local train with 89% packed (in terms of Packing fraction !).Got place to half stand. One glass of my spectacles surrendered in crowd.I felt sad by losing  Rs. 700 at one go.After 2 station when so many scoundrels left the train, a guy came to me ,all smiling and gave me that GLASS ! GOD must be crazy ! i wondered how come that glass survived when i find hard doing so ?  I smiled and thanked that “NICE HUMAN BEING of Mumbai.These type of species are rare in Mumbai !. You can bet on that !

Human and Trading:

Finance is interesting.Doesn’t require any prior knowledge.You should have sound brain and analytical approach .You would be master.Trading makes you greedy because you are stealing some one’s money virtually and so does others to you.Its addictive and progressive.When you need to hit 8 keys of keyboard withing 10 seconds and it results in Rs. 10,000 you smile.But when you misshit with time lag and loose Rs. 60,000 you feel deserted.Money is always attached to risk and thrill.If you wish to be finance wizard and money maker be a Trader and feel smartness from within !

The Local Train :

As i said travelling by a local train in Mumbai is challenging and adventrous too.You stand by the platform and people will throw you into the train.Remember,never hold any thing as a support,you will get a place to stand in the train minus your hands.

When first time i saw the scene at Kurla station it was horrible/terrible.People thrust in the train like animals ,not caring about others and so accident take place at high frequency.Recently i have observed that a group of folk singers sit in the train and sing. God knows how they manage to get seat but they are really irritating and no one opposes including me..because of the “don’t touch the dirt attitude “.

Few Changes in Me :

Thanks to IIT KGP, i have learnt flexible life style.I sleep at 4 AM and wake up at 9 AM for office and feel fresh even doing so.

# Take bath 2 times a day.

# My eyes are ice cool observing hot babes and their actions.

# Do lots of shopping in the weekends and visit shopping mall for dual purpose.

# Could adjust and befriend with a BENGALI GUY(Its a great achievement because if you are preplanned not to share your space with a BONG ever in you life !.Can’t say the exact reason).

# Could live without watching any MOVIE and **** since 2 months.

# Could enjoy net browsing at NET speed of 19.2 kbps and still do not feel frustrated.

# Could travel 2 hrs in Local train and have no complain against it. Can’t help. Man! you have to travel if you realy wish to manage your life un-expensively in Mumbai.

Addicted to life in Mumbai

This is my first affair with “Aamchhi Mumbai”.Love at first sight !. Thats my relationship status :). I have heard many times “yaar, mumbai jindagi bana deti hai “.But that always sounded to me fictional.But as soon as i landed here i realized, its not wrong.

Few things i have observed :

1. Girls attitude and their style.Way of presenting themselves.you watch any xyz girl at any point of time,she would look attractive to you doesn’t matter what her  complexion and  figure is and so so.Thats how they maintain !

2. Professionalism in every individual in true sense. “Paisa kamane ke pichhe sab bhagte hain yahan ” !

3. Highest ever auto Rickshaw  fare for me. But hats off to BEST bus service and local trains. Going to every corner is possible.You don’t have to own a car unless you are too elite.Traveling by a local train is a learning experience and a treat to watch for you, if you are new to Mumbai.It will take at least 4 days for you to settle down on this front.But when you are well acquainted with this you will love it.

4.About The company : I get best food of my life, coffee, cold drinks, juice ,snacks and daily 2 times chicken all unlimited and free of cost.Free note book,xerox,printout,Net connection bla bla..and yes ! daily ride in different car to my flat.

Working hours of 10:00 AM till 10:00 PM  sounds hectic but when you get 5 News papers to read, free time to chat, mail, internet browsing and best of business minds then who cares !

you get teachings to make money, to be Karorpati by just playing with others money and free entrepreneurship skills then its worth devoting those hours . Smart people,smart brains,smart thinking,smart life,smart food so its smart me and my company.

5. The Place i live : Kopar khairane, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

This place is cool.Its Growing and Rising Mumbai ! .Shopping Malls, cool boys and hot gals.

I live at 10th floor. Lift is cool.Its speed is just faster than a crawling and almost dead creature .

But you enter in the flat, open all windows and you get fresh cool breeze coming directly from Arabian Sea. Peep through window and see waves of Arabian Sea.

Well i have 4 flat mates. one is Bengali Dada, he happens to be my room partner ,a good person at heart but emotional creature. You can always miss use him. Girls generally do that to him. But you can’t take out generosity from him.That’s his persona.Yes ! he is good at art and i still feel happily strange that he is attached to me in many ways .He is bong but his expressions are very touching and cool.

Has strong hold on his expression be it art, painting, computers, subjects so and so…

Another is Oriya. A smart fellow with decent outlook. But he is too honest to survive in this damn world full of bullshitter’s ! He has passion for songs and maintains composure .

Another is from Jharkhand. A calculative person with business mind.He relates business to everything. cool !

Another is with similar profile but with family business background.He talks with confidence and has nice future ahead.

One is me ! always a studdd 🙂

Patel Hall, DTE (IIT Kharagpur): Lovely Memories

When i came to Patel Hall (famous for its terror in IIT Kharagpur) i never realized that it would give me never lasting memories.And then in wing DTE-known as D top east.Here i stayed for 3 years.We did loads of masti and fun.Now it feels that these 2 years were very short .Alas..!! i could have more years to spend here.

I am putting a short write up on our lovely wing DTE.

To recollect the past two years in DTE is nothing less than a journey. This has been a place which has housed 13 souls who have been extensively apart in their deportment and other aspects yet have been so very together throughout this period. When they joined hands together to come to DTE, there was nothing but promises of the marvellous days to look forward to. And beyond any sort of dubiety, it can be declared that the days spent here have given a lot to look back to for all the 13 souls who have inhabited this place.

Let us list some of the memorable things achieved in this wing:

  • The “mid-wing conferences” on the cot in front of Sumit’s room…

  • The Puri Trip in 3rd year winter…
  • No dearth of photography sessions – camera in every room or the other…
  • The “HP-wing”…
  • Golu’s Anime affairs, much to the frustration of others…
  • The gult songs blowing full volume in three rooms…
  • The “watery” GPLs on birthdays…
  • Mandal da’s endless funda sessions…
  • The mega Job treats…
  • The wonderful moments when the wing was painted with lovely caricatures and quotes…
  • The highly acclaimed wing-treats to juniors and Hall mates at the end of it all…

Out of these 13 STUDS 7 graduated in 2008 and remaining in 2009. Reason that these 6 were B.Tech + M.Tech students. So by Gods grace and luck they had another year of masti and fun. They wrote more interesting stuffs about themselves which is very hilarious and creative .This on line portal is archiving our great life spent in IIT Kharagpur.

Motive is that all the students who were in campus can relate with our fun filled life.Idea is that when we get older and look down the memory lane and visit this blog we get nostalgic.

I hope you Guys find this interesting and do not complain that your filthy past is being displayed here.

DESTINY

Have you ever participated in any contest lucky draw..??? if yes, then you will realize how fantastic is the experience.

From my childhood days i have fastination with these type of games, jackpot,lottery and all such types of stuffs.I have participated in many and hope that someday i will be a great winner.But till this date i have not been so fortunate.so i started believing that all these lottery thing is a total crap.
But when i was in intermediate i took part in a quiz competition organized by HINDUSTAN TIMES called BIHAR QUIZ CONTEST.The quiz used to be based on bihar and questions happend to be really tough one.so i used to search from many mazagines ,newpapers and then send entries.My close friends laughed at me and my craziness.but one day my name was published in the newspaper for being considered among best entries.then my friend got jealous of me and my instant success.

So now i started believing that yes success comes with a little bit of luck.but never believed on only and only luck.because i have never seen winning any thing out of total luck.
but today it happened…………………..

Today i was attending pre-placement talk(PPT) of a big software company called DE SHAW.after the talk was over they distributed some blank papers among all and asked to fill up.after that they collected that and said its a lucky draw.we have one gift and the most luckiest guy would get that.i joked that surely i am going to be that person.but ofcourse that was a joke.i was sitting with some of my friends and they were laughing on my statement.but soon the result was announced.the luckiest winner was my friend sitting beside me.He got an apple ipod of cost 9000/ Rs. we all were thrilled.and started dancing singing..making ho halllaaaa……….after that we draged him in the PARK restaurant and enjoyed dinner on his cash..

MORAL :if somebody close to you wins some lottery then you start believing that yes guys do get somthing so called jack pot.AND yes that must be in your destiny then only you can win..

[ I wrote this article when my friend got an APPLE iPod (in a lucky draw among 600 people) by DE SHAW- during presentation of the company before placements at IIT Kharagpur]
