भरे पड़े अख़बार हैं,

देखने का भूत है।
तीस हज़ार तो जाति हैं,

इतना देश विशाल हैं,
अलग अलग बोलचाल है।
जो हम सबको बांटें है,
वही तो हमको काटे है।
फिर भी कहता एक रहो,
गजब का ये व्यवहार है।
एक हाथ में तलवार है,
दूसरे में खूनी झंडा है।
अच्छा ये व्यापार है,

Objectification and Sexism in BHOJPURI

If you remove innuendo, sexual objectification of female body parts, you will find almost Zero song in Bhojpuri.
Do we people from Bihar represent that? Are we like that ? Does #BhojpuriFilm represent the actual culture? somewhat Yes, but mostly NO.
It started with a creep named “Gudu Rangeela” and then everyone realized that only in that filthy way they can make money. Culprit is everyone. Those who write these lines, those who sing those lines, those who perform on those lines, those who gyrate their hips and B***s on these lines, and lastly the demand side, that is us.
But can we say that only Bhojpuri songs are that ugly?
Let’s see some lines from Bollywood :
“Bambayi ka na Dilli walon ki, Pinki hai paise walon ki”
“Kundi naa khadkao raja, sidha andar aao raja”
“Main to tandoori murgi hun yaar, gatla le sayiyan alcohol se”
“Nacho sare G fad ke”
And then you see, the revealing steps and the sexiest ways in which #NoraFatehi dances.
Let’s read a line from a song in Haryanvi :
“raat balam ne aisi aisi mari”
And then you see the #SapnaChaudhary and kinds doing dance on this in most direct suggesting ways.
So, this problem is in every kind of such industries. When you see the pictures on Instagram, of your favorite film actresses, it looks like they have only mission in life, and that is to SHOW more and more of their cleavage, butt and pelvic areas. It appears that their 24 hours duty is to post their revealing selfies even from the bathroom.
Do you respect them? I don’t. They entertain you. But is this the only way to entertain?
I guess, it is easy to make money and career out of that. What are the achievements of #PoonamPandey? Except the B***s show on instagram?
There is one #MiaKhalifa who created Porn and acted in PORN Industry for just 3 or 4 months. She retired after that. She has millions of followers. She is a celebrity. On what ground ? What kind of talent she has? Answer is, None. You being a sleaze, to get f****ed and make money or name for yourself, is the easiest way out.
Why these sleaze, filth gets traction ? any idea? Because, it is supply driven. They produce it and bombard your mobile phones, internet pages, emails, messages, with that. You are exposed to this.
When you are programmed to get distracted, they have a business opportunity.
You are the victim, they are the virus. Can you avoid it? Answer is NO. Because, like any business, it also gets evolved. They will catch you wherever you are.
The filth is everywhere, it is up to you to take it or not. You can resist as much as you want. But you will get infected by this. Your minor Son and daughter will get infected with this even before they realize or you realize.
And,
I hate this filth.

Alma Matters: Inside the IIT Dream on #netflix is a must watch for everyone, specially for students from #iitkharagpur
Few points where I connected the most are:
1. Some 6 pointers called #Chaggi are so chilled out. I was one of them. Our gang enjoyed a lot. We had our fears deep within. But somehow did not get intimidated or consumed by that.
2. ILLU is the most beautiful and unique feature of IIT Kharagpur. It can not be found elsewhere on this planet.
3. The pressure during placements is real, and extremely stressful. Few of us struggled to get placed even after a month. And we waited for our opportunity. I sat in 15 Interviews. Almost lost the confidence in myself. Ironically, I am a very vocal, extrovert and super confident person.
4. Depression and stress is prevalent. Some show it, some manage it and some quit the life on it. I met one of the batchmate in Patna. We greeted and talked. He had scored 7.6 SGPA. I had scored 6.2, After 15 days, I got the news that he committed suicide. And I remember what he said when we met: Yaar, 7.6 thik hai, ghar wale chahte hain ki kam se kam 8.5 to aaye.
5. I personally know some friends who were extremely good in Coding, and we called them Gods. A few were so engrossed in video game called #CounterStrike that they failed in semester exams, got year back, got late placements yet they are doing so well in life. I know few people who were careless, managed to get their Degree, later became serious in life and became civil servants.
6. Gurukul setup of IIT KGP makes it unique, unlike other campuses. I have been to IIT Bombay and have seen how different it is from IIT Kharagpur.
7. I always believed that some of my batchmates are good in studies and will get success based on that. I am more capable in other aspects, and will get success when my time comes. Success is very subjective, although. The message in the series is clear. You are unique, so is your journey. Embrace it. Do not fear failure. Failure should not consume you. When I look back and suggest you to look back, then you will realise, success or failure are part of journey. IIT makes you resilient. If you are ready, open your arms, you can conquer the world.
I always wanted to write a book on IIT Kharagpur and the life that we enjoy there. It was meant to be realistic like Gangs of Wasseypur. Not like Half Girlfriend of Chetan Bhagat. I am happy that this series on Netflix does some service in that direction.

कोरोना और लाखों मौतों का जिम्मेदार कौन?

भारत में इतनी मौतें और ऐसी भयंकर हालात का सबसे बड़ा जिम्मेदार वोटर है। 70 सालों से हम अनपढ़, कम पढ़े लिखे, अपराधी, डॉन, दंगाई और अपनी जाति का है, इस नाम पर इनको वोट देते रहे। इन्होंने अपने लिए फॉर्म हाउस खरीदे, अकूत संपत्ति बनाई, हजारों लाखों की हत्या करवाई। लेकिन इनका कोई बाल भी बांका नहीं कर सका। जनता ने फिर इन्हें ही चुना। मंदिर, मस्जिद, जाति,भाई चारा, के नाम पर चुना। कोई भी पढ़ा लिखा, साफ सुथरा, अच्छी नियत का उम्मीदवार जब भी लड़ा, उसकी जमानत ज़ब्त करवा दी।
आज जब पूरा देश कोरोना से त्राहि त्राहि कर रहा है तब यही नेता घर में दुबक कर बैठे हैं। खुद भी मर रहे हैं। लेकिन कोई प्लान, कोई सहायता करने लायक नहीं हैं। मूर्ख अक्सर ऐसा ही करता है।
इस संकट में सब लोग अपनी व्यक्तिगत ताक़त और सोर्स लगा रहे हैं। ऑक्सिजन सिलिंडर, बेड, ICU बेड, रेमडीसीवीर, अन्य दवाईयों के लिए अपने जानने वाले लोगों को फोन कर रहे हैं, हाथ पैर जोड़ रहे हैं, 50 गुना पैसा खर्च कर रहे हैं। तब या तो कोई व्यवस्था हो रही है, बच रहे हैं या अंतिम यात्रा पर चले जा रहे हैं। मैंने खुद सैकड़ों लोगों की मदद की है। लोग सांसद, मंत्री, कमिश्नर से फोन करवा रहे हैं एक अदना से बेड या इंतजाम के लिए।
इस देश का प्रधानमंत्री चुनावी रैली में लाखों की भीड़ पर खुश हो रहा है जबकि देश में लाखों कोरोना के केस आ रहे थे। एक राज्य का मुख्यमंत्री FIR का ऑर्डर देता है जब कोई उससे ऑक्सिजन सिलिंडर के लिए गिड़गिड़ाता है। एक राज्य का मुख्यमंत्री यह कहते हुवे पाया जाता है कि जो मर गए उनको वापस नहीं ला सकते, आप मुझे और सरकार को दोष मत दीजिये। एक राज्य का मुख्यमंत्री अपने आवास से 84 दिन तक नहीं निकलता है।
इसी देश में दिहाड़ी मजदूर हजारों किलोमीटर पैदल चलते हैं, कुछ रास्ते मे ही मर जाते हैं। लेकिन फिर चुनाव होता है और उनको चुनते हैं, जिनसे उन्हें नफरत होनी चाहिए। इन सबके बावजूद नेताओं के समर्थक इनका फेलियर मानने को तैयार नहीं। उल्टा उनका जयगान करने को तैयार हैं। जब न्यूज़ीलैंड का दूतावास अपनी जान की भीख मांगता है उस युवा नेता से जिसको कोई संविधानिक पद नहीं मिला है।
मेरा यह मानना है कि भारत के लोगों से ज्यादा क्षमा युक्त पूरी दुनिया का कोई समाज नहीं हो सकता। यहां गली गली में लाशों का ढेर लग जायेगा। लेकिन,फिर भी जब समय थोड़ा करवट लेगा, कुछ उजाला होगा, ये पुनः इन्ही नेताओ का जयगान करेंगे। और सोने की थाली में इनका चरण वंदन करेंगे।
भारत में कोई सिविल वॉर नहीं हो सकता, कोई सामाजिक क्रांति नहीं हो सकती। हमारा सहनशील होना ही राजनीतिक वर्ग का सुरक्षा कवच है। यही उनका बुलेट प्रूफ जैकेट है। हां, यहां सामाजिक, राजनीतिक, या पॉलिसी फेल होने से करोड़ों हत्यायें हो सकती हैं।
इसका जिम्मेदार कौन है? मुझे लगता है केवल और केवल आप हैं!
My life and routine has been in tatters ever since my friend got admitted for #CovidSOS #COVID19India I have not slept well since last 5 days, have got thousands of call and have been attending that. Have called every big person I know. And have managed to pull him out of danger. He is fine now.
Have got help from people in BJP, JDU, Congress and many other parties. Have got help from people who love BJP and RSS. And have helped them too.
I will not make fun of anyone. But when you go to a hospital, you will get to see death and sorrow. Your heart will break.
You are fine till you have covid but recovering from Home. Just pray that you don’t need hospitalization.Because, there is no oxygen, life saving medicines and your life is just dependent on the important contacts you have which can arrange this.
Govt. and Hospitals have failed. Today you are alive, tomorrow you can die. Because govt, system, and whatever you call this has failed you.
They are also trying it hard. But the fact is, you are digging a well when fire has engulfed you from every corner.
And Remember everyone who loved and helped you.
And one last thing, when everyone has their life dependent on oxygen and life saving drugs, I will hardly care about #routine #Protocol #schedule and #MannKiBaat because these are not important, life and citizens are !
I will not waste even a minute on such nonsense talks!
